joint mortgage and one income! any ideas

I hope someone can shed some light for me, I'm looking for a joint mortagage with one income my income, as my partner is self employee and hasnt got three years of accounts, the mortagage is for €150000, i've been provisionally given this with ptsb, but now they want some sort of income details from partner even though the mortgage is only going on my income, any ideas on where i can get a joint one with one income without they looking for my partners details

Why can't you just tell them that your partner is not earning?!

I dont really know, there would be nothing dodgey about him, i just think they are being careful, i did hear that if the site was in my name aswell that there wouldnt be an issue!?
