joint bank account

Hi,a friend of mine already has a bank account with BOI.his girlfriend who is from slovakia but has been living and working in england up until now has come to ireland to live with him.She has started work here and they want to open a joint bank acc.Should they have any issues and what id would they need.I understand just going to the bank and enquiring would be the simplest thing to do,but it is a language barrier issue,Thanks for any help.

You need proof of identity ( i.e. passport or driving licence) and proof of address (utility bill or Revenue document) for both parties. The bank's websites all have the requirements on them.
