are IL&P joint accounts covered up to 200K ?

just wondering as there are no mentions of joint accounts in any thread I have read.
 
IL&P deposits are 100% guaranteed until June 30th 2011 regardless of the amount. The deposits are guaranteed by the Irish state. As per other threads, some people have questioned the ability of the state to support this guarantee. If an IMF bailout is approved by the Dail then the IMF should be able to address this issue.

Why have you chosen IL&P for your deposits?

(just curious to know why you ask )
had savings in there from long ago and it just built up .
have a term deposit ,over 100k , up jan 4th 2011.
have 5k cu account and a 5k banklink account too.

i was more worried up too yesterdays announcement,I
think they have a better chance of covering it short term now that the IMF are in .

long term Im not sure what will happn .
