Joining the NUJ

Hi All,

Bit of a strange one but hopefully someone can help. Myself and two of my colleagues who working in the publishing sector and want to join the NUJ. However, we need two current NUJ members to propose and second our applications. Is there anyone on AAM who is already a member of the NUJ and might be able to help us?

Is there a publishing chapel within the NUJ? If so, you must know some other publisher members.

Some years ago, someone suggested I join the NUJ, although I can't remember what the benefits were supposed to be. . Another journalist said that they would object to me joining as I did not derive the majority of my income from journalism.
