I understand I cannot delay the start of a jobseekers claim and I understand there are just 2 weeks a year allowed for 'vacation'.....If I wanted to take a month away after finishing up could I suspend a claim and restart it later without losing out on my 234 days of JB ?

It is possible to suspend/freeze your job seekers claim. My job seekers claim was awarded mid May. I had a 2 months overseas vacation already planned for end of June up to August. Filled up a form at my local Intreo to freeze the claim for the 2 months. Went back to Intreo on my return to restart the claim. Was requested proof of travel via email so I provided flight tickets. My claim was restarted without no issues.
