Jobseeker's payment - entitlement?

I was on jobseeker's benefit from January to august having lost my job at the end of December I had only about two weeks to go on jobseekers when I was very lucky to get a job, albeit temporary. I am not sure how long the contract will be for but how long must I work before being able to apply for jobseekers benefit again?
