Is it the paid days they are counting? Or over a period of 312 days even if you are working partime ? Hmmm do you get me?! And if I'm working partime can I apply again after the days are up?

Up to six days a week, but not including days worked. When the days are up,you can apply for JSA.
If you suffer a drop in days work, you may requalify for JSB.

Thanks for your answer, I know my question isn't very clear. What I'm asking is if you are working part time do you still get paid the 312 days but over a longer period? Or do you only get paid during 312 days even if you are working and not getting full js every week?

Basically, JSB will last a year if you are claiming it 6 days a week. If you are working 3 days and claiming 3 days it will last 2 years.

Hope this is the answer you are looking for?

Just to confuse things, didn't they change it to a 5 day payment week in the last budget and reduce it to 250 days or was that just an idea?

Thanks, yes that is what I was asking for yes they did change it to 5 days for partime workers. Never heard about reducing the days, but if someone know please advice me thanks.
