Jobseekers Benefit - eligibility period

If jobseekers benefit is stopped as you get temporary work for one week is the overall benefit period extended by 1 week?

i.e if normal JB eligibility expires on Feb 1st and you notify welfare you work 1 week in Jan I understand JB is withheld for that week. The query is will the eligibility period for JB extend to 8th Feb?

Yes. The 312 days is benefit paid, unless the period of claiming is broken by continous 52 weeks claiming
