Jobseekers benefit after some time !

Hi all

I was let go from work last March, and at the time I had a lot going on personally so I packed the bags and went to a break to europe for a bit and ended up staying away till July, thinking I might get some work while away, however didnt get any work.
Now im back in Ireland, and living with my partner and baby.
Will I be ok to claim JB even tough I was away the last few months ? will it prevent me from getting the JB ?

It should be fine, they will just ask some questions as to how you've been supporting yourself, and what you've been doing.
