Jobseekers Allowance, waiting list

Hi all,
I started signing on a few weeks back, and last thursday met with the social welfare officer to be assessed for jobseekers allowance. Does anyone know how long I'll have to wait to hear back about this, or is it a case by case or office by office matter?
