Jobseeker’s Benefit and self-employed PRSI.

Hi there

I worked for a company for 25 weeks in 2007(governing year) the rest of time I was self employed where I included a PRSI payment in my tax return for that year.

Will this cover me for the 39 weeks I need to have paid to qualify for the above?

No. Self-employed contributions do not cover you for JB
