I was recruited to a job sharing position 8 years ago. I worked week on-week off for 5 years then opted to work mornings only. My husband has been made redundant so I asked my employer if I could work full time hours and got a letter to say no. Am I entitled to Job seekers benefit? If you are now availkable for full-time employment (as you say having asked your employer for same), tehn you can claim JB for days not working. Rememebr that you will be expected to look for full-time alternative employment as well.
