Hi All,
Just wondering if someone can help- I worked job-sharing up until April 2007 when i gave up work, i then became an employee of husbands business as he was self-employed, he is now out of work as was in construction and cant get work.I'm wondering if i can claim job-seekers benefit now and also if my husband can
 
Your JB would be based on your PRSI payments in 2006 so I suggest you go to your nearest SW office immediately and apply. Bring PPS no. ID (passport or long birth cert) and proof of address (Utility bill) and P45
