Hello.
Can somebody who is claiming Job Seekers Benefit make a claim for a dependent spouse who is signing on for Credits? And will that spouse keep receiving the Pension Credits? I did not find any information on the relevant sites. Thank you.

When you say " signing on for credits", do you mean she has claimed Jobseekers Benefit?

I mean a married couple. Wife lost her job and will apply for Jobseeker Benefit. Spouse is signing on for Credits at present. Can wife claim for Spouse as dependent? If yes, will spouse still receive Social Insurance Credits for State Pension?
