hey guys

i applied for job seekers benefit a few weeks ago and just got a letter to come in next week to discuss my claim. I wonder what this can be?

I'm wondering if its to do with my references? do they check these throughly? one of mine wasn't real cos i hadn't heard back from many people at the time, but i have lots of genuine replies now that i could bring just in case.(stupid i know)

Thanks

Why are you worried? They probably just want to go through your details face to face.

What references are you talking about? I don't ever recall having to give references to claim JB. Or do you mean evidence that you are actively seeking work at the moment? The main qualification criteria for JB are that you have the necessary PRSI contributions and that you are genuinely available for and seeking work. If you satisfy these then you should have nothing to worry about. But in future don't pass bogus paperwork onto SW to avoid other problems.
