My husband is on JB at the moment, but is awaiting to be switched to Short Term Enterprise allowance. When Job Facilitator was sending papers to SW he said it won't take long to update the system. It's 3rd week now and system is still not updated. He is keep calling their office but he is getting this same response - system is not updated yet.
As he was told it won't take long and he can start doing some job now and that he will be getting his JB via bank transfer he book a flight to meet his client abroad and do some work there - including Wednesday when he supposed to collect his JB payment. Now he doesn't know what to do:
1) miss the payment
2) cancel the meeting and of course loose his first client.
What he can do? Talk to SW? He already used his 2 weeks holidays as we had holidays booked a year before while he was employed.
Any advice welcome.
