I was put on 3 day a week approx 2 years ago. I am now pregnant. My pay falls under the PRSI threshold so therefore i do not pay PRSI. Can anyone tell me if i would be entitled to Claim Maternity Benefit?
 
Provided you are still earning at least €38 a week, you are still earning your class A prsi stamps and so will be entitled to maternity benefit.
 
As pointed out above, as long as you are paying €38 a week you will get your maternity benefit. It will be based on your earnings from 2 years ago. If you have no earnings in the relevent tax year you will get the min payment. I was only working 7-12 hours a week and got maternity benefit. I earned more on maternity leave.
