What would be the best way to get from JFK to the Yonkers area of New York? bus, train, or taxi?

There is a fixed fare for Taxi think its around $40+ plus toll charges

Got the bus last time and it cost $10 leaves you at grand central

Subway you have to get a bus to the nearest station cannot remember what was the name then subway into Manhattan

Comfort wise taxi for the economical route bus
 
There is a train from Grand Central, I think train to Poughkeepsie will bring you to yonkers, cheap under 20 dollars from memory ,2005

I think that the 40$ fare is to manhattan only. Yonkers would be much more expensive. We've just been and got a bus to grand central for $10 and a bus from there to Yonkers for $5. It was so comfortable...lovely air conditioning and could sleep for the journey. Not alot of hassle to get buses.
