Jewellery buyer

Hi all,
not sure if this is the right thread - if not, someone might be good enough to shift it to the correct place thks....

I recently received a gift of some really good emerald earrings for my wife from a friend who had just returned from travelling in the Near East - apparently they are worth about €500 but my problem is that my wife doesn't have pierced ears and has no intention of getting them done SO...

where should i go to sell the earrings on - i'd preferably like to sell/exchange to a shop - does anyone out there have any recommendations or thoughts on where to start looking (i'm based in Dublin)

no ears piersed......lol ebay them

I doubt that you would get anything like their proper value if you sold the earrings. Have you considered going to a good jeweller and asking about having them made into clip-ons?
