Hi
I have had my working week reduced to 2 days due to recession and have received JB for 312 days. This has now ceased and as I am not eligible for JA I am no longer signing but am still putting up Class A stamp each week.
SW have told me I cannot claim JB again until my circumstanses change (e.g. hours reduced again or made redundant) as I have now estabished a "2 day week working pattern" eventhough this is outside my control.
Q. Is this correct ?
I have also been told by SW that JB I received was classed as "casual" and not "systamatic" and therefore is probably taxable.
Q. How do SW decide whether its casual or systamatic as I would have understood 2 days regular work each week surely not to be casual
Any help on above matters much appreciated.
