I have access to the online library "ovid". When I select a textbook the contents page loads up in the lefthand frame ok but when I try to select a chapter " javascript:void(0)" appears in the bottom status bar and nothing happens. I have searched google and so far all that I can come up with is 1. Make sure java is enabled in IE (done) 2. Turn off pop-blockers(done) 3. Reinstall JVM (done). I have even tried other browsers. Can anyone shed any light?

If you have Firefox handy then try Tools -> Error Console -> Clear and then refresh the page that causes the problem and see what, if anything, is reported.

Are you sure that Javascript (not Java) is enabled? Note that Javascript has nothing to do with Java in spite of the similar names so checking your Java installation is irrelevant.

Sorry my mistake, I have been googling the problem for so long I am getting confused. Javascript is enabled in the IE 7 and firefox. Re the Error console in firefox
Error: junk after document element
Source File: [broken link removed]
Line: 7, Column: 7
Source Code:
</div><div book_id="B00140037-DA2-C14" class="header">------^
Along with several warnings.
Does the above make any sense?
