I suppose both are good motors from reviews. The ix35 has a 5yr warranty. Have you looked at the Kia Sportage? Personally I think it is a better looking alternative..both built at same factory but 7yr warranty on the Kia.

The Superb also comes out with great reviews. Personally on a car that big I might want a more powerful engine, but depends what you like. It should still be well able to pull it along.

the superb seems like a very big car for the 1.6

Would upset me not to have the 2.0 engine.

Try and drive a 2.0
