Ivisit.com - problems with sound

hi all

set up ivisit between myself and my sister in the states a while ago (couldn't use Skype as we have PC and my sister has a Mac).

Was working ok but for the last few times the sound has started reverberating back to us and when we speak, that's bounced back to us as well. There is also a lot of feedback which is a horrible.

Anyone know what we're doing wrong??

Skype is available for Mac (OS X).

are you using pc speakers or headphones? With voip systems you can get feedback/echo problems when the mic is picking up the speakers. Try headphones (walkman type will do) to see if it makes a difference.

Clubman, she has a different type of Mac system or something - believe me, we've tried.

Car, thanks for your suggestion. We use the microphone in the PC (and I think there's also one with the camera) will give the headphones a try.
