What would Italy be like in March. Probably Rome and Sorrento. Would accomodation be easy to find if we just turned up at that time of year ? Would the weather be nice.
I toured Northern Italy (Florence, Venice, Verona, Milan) a few years ago in March. Weather was perfect. Clear, sunny, cool. Crowds were low, except in Florence and hotels were easy to get (although I booked all ahead). Only Milan was tricky, due to a huge trade fair there at the time.
