What recruitment companies are good for these counties for IT positions? Any particular recruiter good for placing people in positions that have telecommuting options? Thanks!

I'm planning on contacting them as they seem good from looking on line (and a brief meeting at the lookwest night in Dublin).. If anyone has any pointers on how to approach recruiters please advise i.e. should we discuss salary ranges even before any interviews .. should I tell them which companies that I would like them to approach. There is one company that I am interested in and I'm not sure whether to go to them directly or through Collins mcNicholas - advice??

If you are contracting why not approach the company yourself? The agency will just do the same thing and take 10% from you for doing it.

Do a search of irishjobs from jobs in the area.
Is it a developer role you are seeking?

Edited becuase : oops, I read 'plaiing to contact them' as 'planning to contract'. Sorry
If it a pernament postion I would go through an agency.

I'm interested in obtaining a permanent position with this company. I have heard that they have options regarding working from home after an initial number of months on site. I was wondering if the recruitment company might have knowledge regarding whether this is someway flexible i.e. work on-site for a shorter period of time and possible work every second week on site for a number of months, or 3 days a week on site . I was thinking that they may be able to negotiate this type of thing better (if there was to be any offer of a position). I would presume it would be best not to mention this to the company until it's clear whether they have a suitable position and want to take me on.
