Isla canela (Huelva, Spain) - anyone been?

Isla Canela - wondered can anyone recommend?

We're family of 2 adults, & kids (10 and 4)
There are a few beach front apt or near beach ones €650
Its a reasonably quiet location -suits fine but do want some access to a couple of restaurants, few shops, public transport for odd day trip.

Other cheaper apts are for golfing and cut off from services bit....so if anyone could recommend a particular complex..it would be great.

Budget for apt 650 tops!

Coincidentally I was researching this the other day but decided against it. It seems to be an area of mainly modern apartments etc. I think I will be heading more toward Cadiz. There is very little info on Tripadvisor about the area.

I think you're right - from what I can see, the apt are modern but thats all. for the same price I think I can find somewhere with a little more activity. I'll try Cadiz. thanks for tip

we were in Islantilla, close to Isla Canela. Very quiet if that is what you want, the non-tourist/real Spain. If i were going for a real Spain holiday again, I would try Nerja.

Seville is not that far away and is beautiful. you can fly to Seville with Ryanair or we flew to Faro with AL and got a taxi. 70 EUR approx one way.
