ISA style investment account and removal of deemed disposal.

I seen a reel from Paul Overy at Ask about wealth and he said there was two proposed and welcome tax changes coming.

1, An ISA (UK) style investment account

2, The reversal of deemed disposal.

This would be great as we are penalised here for investing compared to other countries.

But it also seems too good to be true that they would actually do something like this for us.

Has anybody heard anything of the sorts?.

Would be great if these proposals came into fruition. It was only when I moved from the UK to Ireland that I started learning about personal finance and taking it more seriously, and the more I learned the more I felt like I would have been better of staying in the UK from an investment perspective. It feels like the only way to build wealth in Ireland is through property or pensions.
