Is VHI classed as Permanent Health Insurance?

Im filling in my tax claim online for the first time and was just wondering if my VHI payments are classed as Permanent Health Insurance?

No its not. Also VHI is taxed at source so unless your employer paid it for you then it does not appear on your tax return

Just another PHI taxation question,

is tax relief given to PHI, regardless of your employment status, doesnt matter if you were PAYE or sole trader or even unemployed during the period.

I ask as I cant see in the tax assessment any relief given to my PHI contributions and want to check before chasing with revenue.
