Just thinking of getting a new mattress and have seen this deal, question is it really a deal, any advice surely ca't be such a saving cheers

price states £799 but the coupon city deal states 299Euro,

I think IKEA were having a sale recently with very cheap mattresses, maybe check there?

Having said that, I really think you should stretch for a really good mattress, I'm normally always looking for bargains and was going to buy a cheap mattress but my brother persuaded me not to and I got some really good ones in kingsbury furniture in Tallaght, will check tonight on the brand - they were Irish made which was also a plus.

I notice that the mattress you linked to has memory foam, mates of mine spent a fortune on a full memory foam mattress a few years ago but found it very warm - I see this one states the coils dissipate the heat, so maybe they've improved.

Just make sure of the exact sizes of Ikea matresses, I believe many (all?) are European sizing, and won't fit standard bed frames.

They have started selling some Irish sizes also

I spoke to someone today who got a very good deal on a mattress from Harvey Norman. The advertised price was about half the original, and the staff cut a few more euro off at the checkout.

Checked last night, the mattresses I bought were odearest summer breeze, best mattress I've ever slept on. Think they were about €800 each though but a great investment.
