Is this car worth buying?

I have been offered a 2006 Honda FRV 1.7 petrol with 35,000 miles, FSH with dealer, for €18,000. I was considering buying a diesel accord of the same year, possibly imported from UK after July so now I'm wondering if I should just go for this car. Is it worth buying diesel now with prices so high and cost of repairs to diesel engines more expensive?

How do you figure the cost of repairing a diesel engine being more expensive?

beacause of the more complex layout and assembly of a diesel including the injector pump , then are generally regarded as more expensive to repair

however honda have an excellent name as reliable engines

I have an older Accord at the moment and have never had major problems with it and definitely would go for another one. I just wondered is diesel really worth it, all things considered?
