Some time ago I ordered goods online from Ireland (usually do this from US but conscious of the 'buy Irish' ethics of the moment). For payment I asked if I could pay by cheque instead of visa - which was accepted. After a long wait of about 7-8 weeks I finally received the goods. Everything arrived except 4 items which were 'to follow'. The cheque was then cashed. After several emails I gave up hope of receiving the 4 items and just asked for the receipt, as this is more important to me. Each time I was told 'its going out in the post today'.
Now my emails are no longer answered and each time I phone I am put on the messaging service.
Is this breach of contract?
