i received a speeding ticket in nov for offence in late sept, is there a time limit for tickets to be issued before they become void.

whats the date of issue on the notice? The 28 days kick in from that date, not the date of the offence.
 
Question relates to validity of timing of issuance of the fixed charge notice.
Not to the how long one has to respond to the fixed charge notice nor to the timing for issuance of the summons.
 
I know what Chum is asking but the gap between the offence and issuing of the fine is not relevant. The important date is the date in the top right hand corner of the notice, not date of the offence. Thats the date the Fines Office go by and dictates the length of time you got to sort it out before higher payments or summons time.
