Is summer work included in 260 PRSI contributions?

Finished college in June 2005 and worked full-time until Dec 2009.
So thats 4 and a half years of PRSI payments. Approx 234 PRSI Contributions.
Just wondering if PRSI paid in summer months between college can be added to this thereby making me entitled to 12 months JB as opposed to 9 months or is it 260 continuous contributions are required?
 
The 260 contributions requirement is a cumulative total through your working life, they doesn't have to be continuous. If you paid contributions at the appropriate class during your summer work, they'll be counted.
