Is redundancy payment prorated?

Hi,
I am working a 2 day week at the moment. My temporary contract will be finishing soon and I expect to have to collect the dole for a while. Will the dole payment be reduced because I work for only 2 days a week or will the payment be based on my weekly salary?

Also, when I sign on for the first time, what proof do I need to give to show that I am unemployed?
