is it very busy at farmleigh house this time of year ?
events seem to be non ticket but surely (crowd control ) one would need to reserve?
has anybody done a guided tour if such is available?

Going on last year's experience, get there early if you want to listen to the carol singers- place seems to fill up about an hour before the performance.
The market is nice but no different to the one that runs throughout the year. It's a bit busier than usual, and there are kids and buggies EVERYWHERE, so remember, patience is a virtue!!!

Not sure if there are guided tours this time of year. Might be worth giving them a ring.
