Many who through financial necessity availed of the 3 month Coved related mortgage moratorium will pay thousands in extra interest over the course of their mortgage. Is it crazy-talk to hope that the Government might have pressured the banks to offer 0% interest on the 3 month moratoriums? The State bailed out the banks in 2008 and we'll be paying for that for a long time to come so the banks should have been expected to step up now.
I'm probably quite naive in thinking that more might have been expected from the banks . . but I do.
