Is is possible to copy from NTL DVR box onto DVD?

Hi All,

I'm hoping someone can help me with the above query. Since I got the DVR box I've been a bit "record button happy" and taped tons of films, of which I have watched only a few and my memory left is down to 4%!!

Is it possible at all to connect the DVR box, even temporarily, to a DVD recorder and copy the stuff onto DVD?

Any help would be gratefully received!

Yes you can. I just discovered this the other day when I had the same problem...had loads of things recorded and was running out of memory. I just let the film play on the digital machine and record it on DVD at the same time. You probably can't watch TV at the same time but I record it on to DVD when i'm doing something else at home and not watching TV.

Anyone know if it is possible to backup content onto a USB HDD or memory stick.

My bro got caught recently where his sky plus box had to be formatted during a big upgrade. Lost a load of Peppa pig and the like.
