Is iPod 6th Generation compatible with iLuv/iHome

Bought the Ipod 160gb 6th Generation while abroad. Have not put it into operation yet. However my wife wants to buy me a small stereo system such as the iLuv or an alarm clock such as the iHome. However no-one has been able to tell her if my new iPod will work on them.

Does anyone know if they will work with the new one. I don't think there will be a problem. However..............

I know that the iTouch does not work with many/all of the accessories that were made for the previous versions of iPod. So be careful!

Here's a breakdown of what they say:

It does say that it won't work with previous video playback accessories.
