I cant get broadband in my area (south Meath) but the local pub has a fastnet instalation. Up to recently I could get onto the web using their signal as it is about 500 meters away. Now it is looking for a network key, easy come easy go I suppose. My question is this: is Fastnet any good, from their web site they seem to charge €30 +Vat per month which seems a bit steep. Also they have specified a €150 instalation charge, would I need any extra hardware if I can get the signal already. And lastly do I have any other options.
