having signed a contract with a builder to do work on corporation houses(new build) i find now i,m having problems getting paid -ie- 95% completed 50% paid ! each of my valuations (3in no) have bin 50% short-excuse cash flow --question? it states on contract that !! if builder does not pay that corporation will !!! the director who signed this contract has left company is this contract still valid
once the director was a director of the company when the contract was signed then it is a valid contract as long as the company is still trading.
Basically, the director was signing on behalf of the company - the fact that he is no longer a director makes no difference whatsoever to the terms of the contract.
