Is BOI payment holiday seen as a black mark?

Hi there,

Getting married next year and a three month payment holiday from my mortgage would free up some money, if I did apply is it seen as me saying I cant pay my mortgage, would it go on my credit rating?

If you applied, BOI may record it but it wouldn't go on your ICB record. If you were refused a payment holiday but did it yourself then they could have it put on your record.

Oh yeh itd be an application alright, we could easily pay it id say but it would just give some breathing room.
