Have a look at the headline on the left of the red banner at the top of the page.

In case it's changed it reads:

The Body's Mind - Why Elle MacPherson has gave up the gargle

 
I don't see what that headline has to do with Bertie?

It sounds like classic Bertie speak. Remember when Albert Reynolds was pushing CJH out of the driving seat in FF and Bertie’s comment “I never thought it would have came to this”?

When I was younger and much less cranky than I am now I used to have a go at people for being snobbish about Bertie's struggles with grammar. But then I thought of him I seen-ing and I done-ing when chatting with world leaders and I stopped defending him. It's embarrassing.

On that issue....just heard Damien O'Reilly (is that his name??) on Liveline (Joe must be off skiiing) talking to the former footballer Dave Langan. Twice he asked Langan what difference it might have made to his career if "you would have went" to Euro 88.
