Is a short term lease required if I am renting out our family home as a holiday let for 10 nights?

For the purpose of insurance? You would have to have your insurers agree it as it is not the basis of your current cover, and the scope of liability cover is different.

Thanks, we were charged a small fee to add this to our policy but I feel much more secure now.
