iRobot Vacuum Cleaners

I need to buy a new Vacuum Cleaner. I was thinking of buying the iRobot Roomba 770 Vacuum Cleaner. Does anyone have any experience of using this particular model or would anyone have any other suggestions? I have a dog who lives in the kitchen most of the time and he's constantly shedding hair. I usually have to hoover twice a day just to pick up the dog hairs. Is this type of hoover suitable for dog hairs?

Firstly you would benefit from a furminator and I think if you use it 2 or 3 times a day for just a minute or two you should see a huge difference. Don't bother about the copies on ebay as I understand some of them need blades or are useless as compared to the real thing. I got mine in Maxizoo as they offered to take it back if I wasn't happy with it. It comes with a lifetime guarantee and there are 3 sizes. There are also ones for cats. At the time I bought it was €35, €45 or €55. Best purchase yet.

A lot of people say the Miele cat and dog hoover is the best but I haven't tried one yet.

I understand the shorter the coat the more they shed and I find the jack russell's hairs appear to have static electricity attached and are nearly impossible to remove off clothes or rugs/carpets.
