Hi,
I know this is possible but I'm looking for further information.
When buying goods in Northern Ireland, if you present an Irish V.A.T. number, you do not have to pay the V.A.T. The reverse of this is also true.
- what are the implications for the person who owns the V.A.T. number
- will the Irish revenue be notified of this?
- Apart from buying in sterling, what are the disadvantages from doing this?
Thanks,
Draff
