Not sure how I feel about this as I'm a follower of most sports. But to me it does'nt seem fair - you get 60 points less that someone else in the CAO system but you can jump ahead of them into a college course in UCD for example, just because your good at a designated sport.
And UCD receiving public funds!
Very American approach. But at least over there they have a competitive inter-college sports scene. That does'nt really exist here (Hurling and Football comps apart) so why so mad to get them in?
