Hi, my partner worked for the Irish Permanent for about 4 years in the mid 1990's. He was then seconded to Guinness & Mahon Private Bank for about 3 years.
He recently contacted Irish Permanent to check if he had a pension when he worked there. He was told he did not. I suspected that he did but even after further inquires, he made no progress.
Finally, I found old payslips in our attic that showed pension deductions from his time at Irish Permanent.
It may well be that this pension was subsequently transferred to Guinness and Mahon, which no longer exists.
Has anyone else had the same experience or more importantly know what we should do next?
Many thanks,
F
