Irish Nationwide a/c - 1998

Hi,

I found an old bank book from Irish Nationwide which last has a deposit from 1998. I've no idea now how to go about retrieving that money.
Haven't been in receipt of any correspondence about this since then.

Can anybody tell me who I go to about it?

How much is involved?

I had an Irish Nationwide account (purely to benefit from any demutualisation/IPO) which became a PTSB account.
 
Go into any PTSB branch and approach customer services with details of your old Nationwide account and they will issue you with a new account number.
 
Small amount, about £500 at the time.
Is that all I've to do, present myself with the book at a PTSB?

sounds handy enough. Thought I'd have to go the letter writing route.
