Irish Mortgage For Bulgairian Apartment

I have bought an apartment in ASPEN GOLF complex and i have sourced the best bulgairian mortgage at 6.75%, i find this very expensive. is it hard to get an irish bank to do a foreign mortgage. in particular does A I B do mortgages for forign property and what is the criteria you have to meet . regards
