Irish Law Governing Competitions

hi,

I was wondering if someone could point me in the right direction. I'm looking at running muliple competitions and I want to make sure I'm organising them within the law.

For instance, I know in the UK, you can't organise a competition unless it has some from of skill involved otherwise it is considered a lottery which requires a specific license.

I'm wondering if there ar similar caveats in Irish law.
